How to set a lock screen message using BlackBerry 10 OS 10.3.2

LockScreenMsg_01_FeaturedHave you set a lock screen message on your BlackBerry 10 device yet?

If you haven’t, follow the steps below and within 30 seconds you’ll be able to add a message to your lock screen with your contact information, in case you misplace your device.

Setting a lock screen message

  1. While viewing the home screen, swipe down from the top bezel
  2. Tap Settings followed by Security and Privacy
  3. Tap Lock Screen
  4. Enter your desired message in the Lock Screen Message fields

LockScreenMsg_02After completing these steps, the next time you lock your screen and wake your device, you’ll notice your message appear on the lock screen. To remove a lock screen message, complete the steps listed above and clear the message displayed on Lock Screen Message fields.

In addition to setting a Lock Screen Message, I strongly recommend enabling BlackBerry Protect on your BlackBerry 10 device.
