Hands-On Lab
For those that cannot attend instructor led training courses, but prefer “learning by using,” you will want to check out the all-new Hands-On Labs! These virtual labs provide access to a functional BlackBerry Enterprise Service installation so you can familiarize yourself with BlackBerry enterprise software.
Three different versions of the Hands-On Labs are available and are listed below:
BlackBerry Enterprise Service 12 (BES12)
- Provides access to a fully prepared BES12 server, a baseline environment to perform installations of BES12 and access to a local Microsoft Domain Controller including Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Microsoft SQL Server.
BlackBerry Enterprise Service 12 Sandbox
- The BES12 sandbox environment provides access to a fully prepared BES12 Administration console. This sandbox environment is targeted to new administrators who are considering BES12 as a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, and administrators who currently have BES 5 or BES10 and are in the early stages of a migration investigation.
BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10
- The BES10 Hands-On Lab provides access to a fully prepared BES 5 and BES10 server, a baseline environment to perform installations of either BES 5 or BES10, and access to a local Microsoft Active Directory including Microsoft Exchange Server, and Microsoft SQL Server.
