Whenever I set up a BlackBerry 10 device, or a friend asks for a quick tip, I always ask if they saved their voice mail password on their device.
Simply put, saving your voice mail password within your Phone settings makes checking voicemail easy because all you need to do is tap the Voice Mail icon, or notification with the BlackBerry Hub, and you can hear the message without entering your password every time.
This may seem like a really simple tip, but if you get a lot of voicemail this can really help you save time. Like my mom always said, it’s the small things that really add up over time! 
How to set a voice mail password
- While viewing the home screen, tap the Phone icon
- Swipe down from the top of the screen
- Tap Settings followed by Voice Mail
- Complete one of the following:
- To set a password for the first time, tap Set Password
- To update an existing password, tap Change Password
- When finished, tap Back to save your changes
To verify everything has been setup correctly, tap the voice mail icon in the phone app to verify and listen to your voice mail messages without having to enter your voice mail password.
