Here’s a quick overview of how to insert a micro SIM and/or media card into your new BlackBerry Q5 device.
Before we begin, SIM card adapters can damage your device. To avoid possible damage, ensure you are using a micro SIM from your wireless provider.
Step 1 – Opening the side door
Place your fingernail into the slot and open it by pushing against the slot as per the two directional arrows above.
Step 2 – Insert a micro SIM card
Using the image below as a guide, flip and rotate your SIM card until it matches the image, then slide your SIM card into the orange slot.
To ensure the SIM card has been inserted all the way, push the SIM card until you hear a click, which indicates the card has been successfully inserted.
Step 3 – Insert a Media Card
Using the image below as a guide, flip and rotate your media card until matches the image, then slide the media card into the blue slot.
Similar to a SIM card, to ensure the media card has been inserted all the way, push the media card until you hear a click. When finished, press the door back into place to cover these slots.
